Uncertainty Indices for Brazil
We are pleased to host two indices of Economic Policy Uncertainty and related concepts for Brazil:
Scott Baker, Nicholas Bloom, and Steve Davis developed monthly uncertainty indices for Brazil that run from 1991 to the present.
Researchers at the Banco de Espaņa and at the Executive Secretariat of the Central American Monetary Council (SECMCA) developed monthly uncertainty indices for Brazil as well as many other Latin American countries.
All teams follow the newspaper-based methods in "Measuring Economic Policy Uncertainty" by Scott R. Baker, Nicholas Bloom and Steven J. Davis.
